What can you create during the next 12 months?

1st Month (November): Bracelet

I will show you various bracelet types and styles. You can choose the one that fits you the best or try more of them. The first month I will be easy on you, because you are starting with leather and learning the basics - cutting, dyeing and decorating the leather.

2nd month (December): Christmas decorations from leather remnants

I will help you creatively use all the leather remnants that you have at home or that you can get very cheaply wherever they work with leather. You will definitely use what you have learned in the first month, and we will find new creative ways to decorate the leather and assemble the parts together to make original Christmas decorations. Are you ready for family fun?

3rd and 4th month (January and February): Handbag / backpack 3 in 1

The real leathercrafting starts here! This time, you'll work from a pattern — punching, gluing, and sewing the leather parts together. And the best part: handbag has a big area for larger decoration you can play with. This part could be a separate online course, it´s a more complex project. I want you to actually finish this one — that's why it's spread across two months.

5th month (March): Classic belt

After this part, you will be an expert on edge work. You will make yourself a professionally looking belt you can wear every day with your trousers or jeans.

6th month (April): Easy wallet

We will rest a bit and create a simple oval wallet that you can match with your handbag, if you want to. Even your credit cards will fit in. I am sure your kids will love to make one for their pocket money!

7th month (May): Dress belt

Thin and elegant, this belt will turn your casual dresses into great looking dresses. Let´s get ready for the dress season together! If you like DIY style, this one will be one of your favourites!

8th month (June): Earrings and necklace

Let's put your leather remnants to new use — earrings and a necklace to complement your dresses, belts, bags, or barefoot shoes. You can have fun with all the family again!

9th month (July): Cell phone case

This summer, skip the bag — wear a hand-made cell phone case on your belt instead. Just a little bit of work and a big effect!

10th month (August): Keychain

Great as a gift for children and adults.There are so many design options that everyone will choose their favourite one. From now on, you will find your keys easily and won´t have to take out all the things from your bag.

11th month (September): Business card case

Be elegant and stylish even at a business meeting. Your business card case will reveal your passion for leather. You can put your initials or logo on it. I will show you various ways how to do it.

12th month (October): Accessory of your choice

You will tell me what leather accessory you need and I will choose one of your suggestions.

What do you need?

Basic hand tools

If you already sew barefoot shoes with me, I am sure you have all you need.

If not, don´t worry. At the beginning of each month, I will give you a list of materials and tools needed for your monthly project.

You will be able to create all the accessories with just the basic tools such as a spacer, an awl, a needle, a punch and a mallet, a knife. These shouldn´t cost you more than €45.

But I will show you also how to upgrade your craft to a professional look with specialized tool options.

I am a medical doctor, a DIY style lover and a mother of 4 children. Since 2017, I have been teaching barefoot shoe sewing courses, and I have studied the impact of barefoot walking on our health.

Do I need any experience with leather crafting?

No experience needed. We start with the basics in month one — cutting, dyeing, and decorating — and build up from there. By the time you reach the more advanced projects, you'll already have the foundational skills.

What if I miss a live Q&A call?

No problem — every call is recorded and added to your member area, so you can watch it anytime.

What if I fall behind on a month's project?

No pressure — as long as your membership is active, every previous month's project stays available to you in the club's member section. Catch up whenever it suits you.

Do I need to buy a sewing machine or special equipment?

No sewing machine required — all projects are made with basic hand tools (a spacer, awl, needle, punch, mallet, and knife). I'll also show you optional upgrades if you want a more professional setup later.

How much does the leather and materials cost each month?

Budget roughly €10–30 per month, depending on the project. If you already have leather remnants at home, it can cost even less.

What happens after the 12 months are over?

Is it safe for young children to use the tools?
