Before you start sewing your barefoot shoes

FREE e-mail series in which I'll show you:

  • what 3 types of shoes you can sew yourself at home,
  • what materials and tools do you need,
  • how the process of making your shoes by hand works,
  • how wearing barefoot shoes can affect your health.

Would you like to make yourself your own shoes?

And you hesitate,

  • if you can do it?
  • whether you´ll have enough time to make it with the kids or after work?
  • if it is for you, even if you don't have any experience and equipment yet.

I get it. I was the same way 6 years ago. I saw that a friend had started sewing barefoot shoes for herself and her family and had no idea how she was doing it with kids. At the same time, I was drawn to it because I've always enjoyed handmade crafts. But I wasn't very skilled at them because I didn't have the time.

I decided to give it a try. And I was surprised that it wasn't so hard after all. I did it even though I didn't know how to sew on a machine. All I needed were a few cheap hand tools. I was so excited about it that I learned to sew all 3 basic types of shoes right away that summer - ballerinas, sandals, and lace-up shoes. I made them not only for myself but for my husband and son as well.

They were so soft and comfortable that I haven't wanted to wear another pair since. They didn't push me at the heel or toe and they fit my feet perfectly. My husband and son were also pleased. And after some time, when we noticed that our feet hurt less, my transverse arches stopped falling off, and my husband stopped limping on one foot just because we started wearing this hand-sewn, custom-made barefoot shoes. I decided I wasn't going to keep it to myself. I started teaching others how they can make such original and healthy shoes too.

I´d love to show you that it´s not so difficult to start.
